Oh, this concept of slowing down is really challenging isn’t it?
You sometimes feel like you’re gonna miss out if you slow down and take time. You feel like if you don’t keep going, you might miss out on something important.
Time is ticking and you want to seize the day and that’s awesome. It’s all awesome.
And what I want to share with you today is the power, the magic, and the importance of slowing down… so that you could actually speed up.
I know that sounds crazy but if you want to go fast, you need to slow down so you can make it smooth, which actually allows you to go faster.
Think of a child learning to walk… he must go slow to learn to go fast.
I build in time in my life, to have space to BE, to slow down, meditate and take walks.
Recently, I took eight days, seven nights and went to a yoga retreat. I didn’t realize how much I really needed that time away until I was in it.
During my vacation, I was really living the concept of “slow down to go fast”.
And when I say I slow down, I sloooowed down and so much came to me that I want to share with you because it pertains to your love journey too.
Whether you’re in a relationship or not, whether you’re seeking to have a partner or not, this concept of creating space to slow down, to really check in with yourself is the way to LOVE. 💕
And with that said, whether you realize it or not, you’re in hyper mode… you know moving, going, getting things done. Your sympathetic nervous system going, going going.
You may sprinkle in some slow time. Sprinkling, oh, let me do a yoga class. Boom, got it done. Now let me get back to manifesting, creating, doing, being, and going online.
So when it comes to calling in love and when it comes to being online and messaging people and talking to people, it takes a lot of energy and a lot of focus.
Relationships alone require a lot of energy — and then there’s life as well.
🤯 PHEW just thinking about it right now feels overwhelming! Would you agree?
So as I was sinking in to meditating and yoga and walking on the beach, I really stepped away from the busyness of my life (I didn’t even bring my laptop.)
One of the things that happened for me and I want to share this with you…
Spaciousness was created.
I felt more connected to my heart, my clarity, my purpose, and my joy for life.
I dropped into a deeper place of alignment within myself during that week away – which is so important.
When you’re dating or entering into a relationship, it’s so important to feel that alignment, groundedness, and connection to your heart and connection to spirit. This happens when you create the space to deeply listen to what you desire.

When you slow down, you get more aligned. Slowing down allows you to drop in deeper and enjoy the journey. And that’s so important when you’re putting yourself out there and dating and in a relationship.
When you slow down, you get inspired because you create space and your mind gets quiet. I started having some really good downloads and having some really cool ideas during my slow time.
This time away also highlighted the necessity to empty out. I have support like my therapist, my shadow work facilitators, my friends and my colleagues. I self-process to release because I want to heal and continue to heal because there are layers and layers and layers of healing.
And I was really surprised how much emotion came up. How many memories came up.
So if you want to continue to move forward, drink up the nectar of life, have joy, fullness, richness, and excitement, and call in your partner, I encourage you to slow down and even fully stop.
When can you create some really solid slow space in your day, week month? When can you prioritize the time to go a little slower, to allow things to show up, come in, and be released?
You MUST plan this time for yourself, make space for yourself because if you don’t it will never get done.
So much love to you,
