Has this ever happened to you?
It’s Valentine’s Day… you expect flowers… a card… attention… something that has you feel loved…and nothing happens?!
Well it happened to me while I was married. It hurt so badly.
I kinda thought it was a no brainer- if you love someone; you do something for them on this special day.
Well, my husband figured he would do the whole V Day thang at the end of the day.
(I still think he forgot). Meanwhile, the hours flew by and nothing. I felt so unloved.
Why am I sharing this with you?
Whether you’re married or single, there is a way to enjoy this holiday. It involves knowing what you want and creating it.
In fact in this week’s Facebook Live, I talk about this holiday as a touchstone for what’s possible for this year in love. Check it out here.
If you’re single watch the video! You can have an amazing V day! It’s totally doable!
I know you want people to show up for you and do something nice and one would think the movies should have trained everyone as to what to do on this day of love.
The thing is, a lot of the time, people don’t know what you want. Or they are so busy they actually forget.
Now I totally get the frustration around it but you can be proactive so you don’t end up eating a frozen pizza alone.
My man asked me a few weeks ago what I wanted to do. So sweet.
He rocks.
Not everyone is going to do that. So what’s it going to be for you? how do you want to spend your day of love?
Watch the video and let me know one way you can create a great Valentine’s day – one to remember.
Much love, Junie
