We get messages everywhere telling us that we are less beautiful as the years go on. Add the mirror to that message and well, we start to feel less than. Then we lose connection to our bodies. Not a shocker that we want to look away.
What if you can have a conversation with your body that allows you to open more fully, feel stronger and experience more confidence? I just interviewed Antonia Balazs. She teaches yoga to women in midlife and shares practices that support more love in this precious stage of life.
Antonia Balazs teaches yoga on and off the mat to midlife women. Antonia felt unanchored and stuck in a rut in her forties. She wanted to keep her body humming and after some searching, found yoga. It had such an impact emotionally and physically, that Antonia became a yoga teacher at fifty.
Now, she helps women in midlife get to know their changing body, turn inward to discover how to thrive in their new midlife chapter. Antonia is passionate about showing other women in midlife that you don’t have to accept the idea society is selling you about midlife – it’s all downhill from here. She wants you to know that all ages of life are amazing, every stage is beautiful, with a different emphasis. Through yoga’s ancient wisdom, with her modern spin, Antonia helps guide women to find confidence and clarity – in their body, their purpose and their life.
